How To Hang Circular Mirror?

For hanging round mirrors we use such a metal plates, which you can see in a picture. One metal plate you need to hang on a wall, another - on the backplate of mirror. You need to have two such plates to hang mirror tight. There will be no space between a wall and mirror.

Such a method of hanging we use only for mirror which have wood backplate.

Step 1

Determine the appropriate height for the room based on your decision. How to decide? Well, you discover the eye level of the viewing position you have chosen.

Estimate the eye level chosen as the center of the room. 

​Step 2

​First of all you need to attach one metal bracket on a wall. So, you have to drill three holes in a wall and put there three plastic plugs. Then attach metal plate with screw so that metal lug would be on top. Go ahead and push the hook into the wall. Try your piece, straighten it. Otherwise, move the hook a little.

Eye balling is always the best way!

​Step 3

​Second thing you need to do is attach metal plate on the back of a round mirror. Attach the same metal plate with screw so that metal lug would be at the bottom. We use such hanging method for round mirrors which is 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm and 90cm diameter.

​For larger round mirror such as 100cm, 120cm, 150cm we use more metal plates.

​Step 4
​
Now take a round mirror and you can carefully let down a mirror on the metal plate which is attached on a wall.

How to hang extra large round mirror?

For extra large mirror we use the same hanging method, only we use more metal plates. In a drawing below you can see how we screw these metal plates. So you need 4 metal plates.
