How To Hang Round Mirror in 3 Different Ways?

Hanging round mirrors are full of art and style. These mirrors are designed with different materials; some are even printed with patterns to make them more elegant and perfect in your room.

​There are mirrors with frames, both either with solid wood frame or with back wood plate. There are also frameless round mirrors perfect for an empty wall in your space.

Below are detailed explanations on how to go about installing them perfectly well.

1 METHOD (for round mirrors with solid wood frame)

Installing a round mirror framed with solid wood, they are usually supplied with metal hook and are fairly simple to hang.

Place your mirror where you would like it to go, make sure it is level and mark the top center of your mirror, and then make a hole in it.

​Take the wooden frame and make the hole size in such a way that that metal hook would be in the same wood surface. Screw the hook on the wall and hang the beautiful round mirror on a wall.​

2 METHOD (for round mirrors with wood back plate)

This method is nice, because it makes no space between wall and mirror, after hanging it. You will need two special metal plates, in which one is attached to the back plate of a round mirror, and other metal plate goes to a wall.

Mark the center of the wood back plate on the wall. Measure from your center mark on the wall to this point and make a mark for your metal hook. Assemble your two metal hooks and hang your mirror. 

​Using this hanging method makes round mirror easily to take of a wall.​

Things to note:

• When purchasing your photo hanging kit, make sure it can support at least 30 kg.
• Attach the metal hook to the frame of your mirror. Your kit will be supplied with regular or eye screws around which you will attach the metal hook to the mirror frame. Make sure it is secure and supports the weight of your mirror before hanging it.
• With a very thick wall, you will need molly screws to help you hang your mirror. ​​

3 METHOD (for frameless round mirrors)

There are two methods to go about this. You can hang it using glue or clips.

Using glue:

For this method, you will need to have special metal plates. Four metal plates are glued to the back of the glass mirror. Two metal hooks are stacked on a wall. With this method you will have a 15 mm space between a wall and mirror.

If you do not want to have a space between wall and mirror, you will need to use special glue for mirrors. So in this case you pour glue on a back of a glass mirror and then you stick it to a wall without any metal hooks and plates. In this way you will have to make it carefully, because you will need to wait some time for drying glue.

Using Clips:

Measure your mirror. Find out where the center of your makeup mirror and the top and bottom edges would be on the wall. About six inches from each edge, attach your clips to the mirror 15 cm along the outer edge of the circle, to support the mirror.

• First fix the two lower clips if they are screwed. You can install the spring clips at once, if you have them. Place foam bumpers to protect your makeup mirror at least six inches inside the edge of the mirror.
• Place the mirror in the two lower and central clips. Screw the upper clips or attach the spring clips to the makeup mirror.
