EXPERIENCE BUILDING A FAMILY HOME

Most times, it is admiring to imagine how an ordinary field can suddenly transform into a lovely house with beautiful, spacious gardens. This house was designed and built for a family of four. This medical family spends a lot of time at work, so they wanted the house to be simple and to serve the people who live in it.

Simplicity is a beauty.

Total area of the house is 235, 72 m². It's one storey building with an attic and classic roof of two slopes, modern architecture. Asides variety of contemporary and traditional facades, so that you are not limited to the appearance of your home.  Architect planning a house, must not only think about the neighboring buildings, fire distances, but also the landscape, interior, but most importantly - about the comfort of human life. However, there is relativity in human living, so the design process is to know the taste of the house owner.

The process

Basically, designing a house depends on the detailed design. For example, such as flag stem height and color, stair railings, evening lighting and many other nuances, which architect must think over in advance. It’s always good if house owners know what they want, and architect needs to give the house a function and to create an outer garment.

Building this particular house, including the design, took 5 years, and it was built using bank loan. Owner and architects are satisfied with a final result. This is a great example, of how a simple paper can turn into a charming house. The house emits simplicity, but there are some interesting details in it. House design is not just about elaborate drawing, but also – good outputs.

Often a man wants to build house cheap, fast and simply. In practice these three things are hard to harmonize, there are of course stages in construction, for example, earthworks, zero level (foundation), bricklaying, engineering networks, heating, and electricity. These stages are done gradually, not at the same time, that is why construction is quite slow process. Considering the openings in a house, for example, windows are ordered only after windows openings have been formed, because of the accurate dimensions. The same thing is with other openings - garage doors, outdoor and interior doors.

​Red roof tiles and yellowish wooden façade were chosen not by chance - we wanted vibrant colors. These colors create a good mood for people who live in a house. These clear colors look vibrant in a grey winter and during summer time - in a green background.

A skylight (roof window) connects walls and roof - they create wholeness for a house. Symmetry of a house fronton balances the architecture of this building. Such roof and walls connection creates the opportunity to refuse rain pipes. Rain pipes aren’t welcome at all. Rain water is flowing by roof and walls.

As you can see in a picture garage doors is not visible, because of the same outdoor wall decoration. Sometimes you do not want your house to look like a car service. Main entrance is formed under the building’s overlay. In this way there is no need to install extra roof above the entrance. You can stand outside the door during the rain and through the snow.

A fence looks easy, and does not block up a building, so the green grass gives a charming view of a red house. Creating architecture is like giving a form for sculpture.

​It is good to fill in bathroom space. In the middle of the bathroom is designed a bath which is organic form. Water flows from the floor through the stand. Such bath form is central figure in a bathroom. Using daylight near sink is a practical decision.

Mirror above the sink is rectangular with rounded corners, in the interface with the bath. Home plan is simple and laconic, therefore organic form becomes good interior accent. Windows frames are dark grey color from outside and inside. This dark color creates contrast among walls. It’s nice to connect furniture color with door color. Hanging furniture creates shadows. Hanging furniture creates opportunity to clean ground floor easily. Interior becomes similar to “easy flight”.

Rosettes and switches are silver color. Silver color has connects to door handles, water mixer and others bathroom accessories.

It is always advisable to put in mind to build a large kitchen which will comprise of an adjoining family and sun room. It’s interesting watching the kitchen transform from a bare, empty space into a large luxurious one as the units will be installed one by one. In most cases, no matter how many living areas you have in a house it is always the kitchen that everyone congregates into. Therefore, creating enough space to build a large kitchen is always advisable.

Intersting details, for example, stones in a floor under glass looks inspirational and relaxing. Interesting details is like salt in a food. You can always make interesting details in your home.
